Threading acupuncture， also known as point-through point acupuncture is a method of acupuncture technique which insert two or more acupoints by one long needle .This acupuncture method is characterized by few points selected but multiple penetration and deep stimulation with obvious clinical effect. There are three major types of threading acupuncture in clinic : A: Radiating , which is choose one point threading to other different points at the same area without pulling out needles , for example , Threading SI18 Quan Liao 顴髎 to ST4 Di Cang 地仓， then return the needle to the skin and change direction threading to ST 6 Jia Che 颊车 for Facial paralysis. B: Centralization , which is choose multiple points insertion at same area and targeting on one point , For example , acupuncture UB2 Cuan Zhu 攒竹 and GB14 Yang Bai 阳白 to EX-HN4 Yu Yao 鱼腰 for supra-orbital bone ache and frontal headache. C： One-way penetrating : One-way penetrating is a method of penetrating needling from one point to another in one direction, such as SJ5 Wai Guan 外关 through PC6 Nei Guan 内关 for acute vomiting， Nausea，Insomnia, Chest pain and acute abdominal pain , this technique is the most commonly used in clinic for multiple symptoms manifests on crossing meridians . If patient has chest pain accompany with cold or neck pain, we can using SJ5 threading PC3 .
