GBS & Acupuncture Treatment ✅Acupuncture Therapy in Guillain–Barré syndrome(GBS) ✨GBS is an autoimmune-mediated peripheral neuropathy. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are the standard treatment for cancer and may lead to immune-related adverse events (irAEs) such as GBS. Corticosteroids, plasma exchange (PE), and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) are currently accepted treatments for ICI-induced GBS. ✅Acupuncture Treatment In the beginning, the patient received a five-day pulse of intravenous gamma globulin, combined with mecobalamin and pregabalin to nourish the nerves.
